The tile floor is complete and we are well on our way to having the trim installed. Andrew has been working to install the wainscot paneling in the living area as Todd completes the bathroom tile work and Julian Brinkley's painters coat the walls.

Andrew wore his painter's cap last week and dusted off his sprayer to fit a tight schedule and get the walls primed and ceiling painted prior to the slate tile floor installation. Todd Mason and his helpers just finished setting the last of the floor tiles today and will be back soon to squeeze in the grout.

Warmer days are here. With the sheetrock hanging complete and the sheetrock finishing nearly complete, we look forward to painting and the installation of the slate tile flooring.

What a nice cozy environment to work in as we near the end of a very long, very cold, and very snowy winter. The first order of business was sawing through the concrete for the addition of another bathroom. After installing insulation in the ceiling, Nathan, Jeremy, and Chantry started with the framing. Soon after, Alleghany Highlands Mechanical installed the duct work and David Lightner, of Lightner's Electric in Monterey, installed the rough-in electrical systems. We began yesterday installing the sheetrock as the plumber finished making all of his connections and will continue with hanging and finishing over the next couple of weeks.
